Troop 140

If you have any issues with quality (swags falling apart, etc.), Mr. Meincke please let know ASAP so that we can replace the product.
Mr. Meincke made a trip to a wreath wholesale company on Wednesday to obtain additional items and replace missing items.
The following items are now in our inventory, and if anyone can sell anyone of them please let him know.:
9 - 24" wreaths
7- 36" wreaths
3 - swags
3 - 15' garlands
6 - 25' garlands
Please turn in any wreath money you have collected on Monday night.

For the next couple of weeks, Carol or Frank Loncar will be available for the first 10 minutes of the Monday night scout meeting to receive your rechartering dues. Please make your check payable to Troop 140 for $15 (Cash is also accepted). If you do not plan on rechartering in 2011, please let them know that as well.

Please double check your numbers immediately, as we appear to be missing 14 - 24" wreaths and 20 swags.

If you have extra items, please call me (715-386-8744 or 715-220-8167) ASAP.

If you have any problems with a product (poor quality) or are short bows, please let me know and will remedy the problem.

Bags

Each scout should have received enough plastic bags to place each wreath product in for delivery. There are three sizes of bags. Be careful not to mix them up or you may have a product that will not fit in a bag.

Small bag - for swags
Medium bag - for 24" wreaths
Large bag- garlands and 36" wreaths

Bows:
24" wreaths and garlands- Bows should have two loops on each side
(15' garlands 1 bow, 25' garlands 2 bows)
36" wreaths- Bows with three loops on each side
Swags- Bows with pinecones

Place the correct bow in the bag before you deliver each item, that way you won't forget to give them to the customer

Extra items will be available and Carl Meinke will get the list published next week.

The Salvation Army has requested Troop 140's help in bell ringing for the holiday season. Each scout should be accompanied by an adult.

(you can ring for more than one hour if you wish)
Where: Outside of Papa Murphy's
Number of Scouts : two per one hour shift

Green Mill Pancake Breakfast for October 20, 2010 has been canceled. Please bring any unsold tickets to the meeting next Monday night, and give them to Mrs. Loncar, or Dave Mienke. If you have sold any tickets please contact Mrs. Loncar at clloncar@att.net to coordinate efforts on returning the money for tickets that were sold.

Today is Veterans Day and we should be thankful for those who died to give us our freedom. The freedom we experience today was earned through the heroic deeds of Veterans who have served both past and present to uphold the ideals of our Constitution. We should not only show our respect on this day, but through the entire year.

Troop 140 wanted to announce that the Green Mill pancake breakfast is an optional event and that the proceeds from the sales will go into the individual scout accounts.

This is also a great opportunity to get some service hours.

Court of Honor, 6:15 on Monday, November 1. Everyone please plan to attend and bring a potluck dish. If your last name begins with the following letters, please bring that dish. Due to the late timing of this announcement, if you've already planned something else then go with your original plan. Nobody will complain if there's too much of one course and not enough of another.

Wreath Sale totals are due tonight, Monday, November 1. Please tally up your sales of each item and submit it to Mr. Meincke at the meeting tonight.
